The M.K.3 design bureau has been operating in the Russian market since 1994. With over 30 years of experience in multidisciplinary design and construction management, we can guide projects from the initial concept to commissioning.
In our work, we draw on domestic and international experience and utilize innovative technologies, allowing us to maintain our position as a leader in digital design. The key to our success is our dynamic and proactive team of professionals: architects, interior designers, engineers, engineers of all disciplines, and technologists—a total of over 150 employees. We will guide your project to success at any stage, from concept to working documentation.
For each project, our bureau assembles an independent team, mobilizing the necessary specialist resources based on the specific task.
The M.K.3 bureau has a well-developed mentoring system, an internal school for chief project engineers, and extensive work with young employees.
The name "M.K.3" stands for Management + Concept + Coordination + Control. The "K" in this case stands for "cubed." These words have guided our entire history. At the same time, the cornerstone of our policy is customer focus, which has only strengthened our reputation with our clients and partners over the years.
OUR SUCCESS STORY
The company's history traces back to 1989, when our future founder, Robert Maldonado, having found himself in Russia, took part in the IRIS Hotel project in Moscow. He was so impressed by our country that he decided to build his future career here, and in 1994 he registered a company in Russia. We consider this year to be the founding year of M.K.3.

Project management is a complex and multifaceted process. The secret of success is to find a balance between the Customer's requirements, the beauty of design solutions and real possibilities. We are supposed to help the customer not only to implement the technical task, but also to consider the economics of the project, so that the project is worthwhile at all stages of the life cycle of the building. To achieve all these ideas it is important to build the right team able to assess the Client’s needs, propose and substantiate their decisions. Solving of the most challenging problems brings us the greatest pleasure.
Our main clients are developers, industrial enterprises, corporate developers, retailers, institutional investors. We strive to make our clients satisfied, to understand the clients' business processes and features, establish trustworthy relationships while working on the project. MK 3 is the general designer, which is our advantage.
